Future Farmers of America members from several area schools will travel to Indianapolis next week for the National FFA Convention.

Members of the FFA chapters across southeast Iowa, including the Washington, Mid-Priaire and Highland chapters, will attend the convention from October 29 through November 1.

Club members in attendance will be able to take part in workshops, competitions, career exploration events, entertainment such as hypnotist shows and rodeos, and the American Degree Ceremony, where FFA members across the country will receive the highest award offered by the organization.

This year’s convention is the 98th annual iteration of the event.
