Washington County Hospital and Clinics (WCHC) recently announced the addition of Dena Prainito, LISW, as a new clinical mental health therapist on its Behavioral Health team.
Prainito brings more than 15 years of experience in social work and mental health services, having worked in corrections, hospitals, hospice, and community health. She provides evidence-based therapy, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, and support for patients of all ages. She joins four other mental health providers at WCHC.
In her new role, Prainito will provide counseling and mental health support for patients and families, working closely with WCHC’s medical staff. Patients must have a referral from their healthcare provider to schedule an appointment.
