Main Street Washington is again offering their Lights of Love Memorial Trees for the 2025 Holiday Season. Those interested can purchase a fresh-cut, lighted tree for $125, which can be dedicated as a memorial or to honor someone. The investment in a Lights of Love Memorial Tree not only honors loved ones but also helps support Main Street Washington’s continued revitalization efforts in historic downtown Washington.
Trees will be trimmed with white lights and a red bow, and will be identified with the name of the honoree. Each honoree will be announced as the memorial trees and downtown Washington are illuminated during the wonderland holiday lighting ceremony held before the lighted holiday parade on Saturday, November, 29th. Trees will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
Donors are welcome to decorate their loved one’s tree. Main Street Washington strongly encourages shatterproof ornaments. Trees will remain in Central Park until New Year’s. The deadline to reserve a tree is October 31st, and there are only a handful of trees remaining.
