Democratic candidate Nathan Sage is making a stop in Washington County during his campaign for the Iowa U.S. Senate seat. 

Sage was raised in Mason City. He is a mechanic, marine, veteran of the War in Iraq, sports broadcaster, and former Knoxville Chamber of Commerce president. Sage will be having a Meet and Greet from 11 a.m. to noon at Pizza Ranch in Washington.

This event is part of Sage’s 99 Counties in 99 Days for the 99% Tour. Sage is visiting all 99 counties of Iowa in 99 days to build a campaign. He will also be making stops in Keokuk County that same day at the Sigourney Cafe at 1 p.m. 

Current US Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) announced in September that she will not be running for reelection.
