The Keota Eagle volleyball team has found momentum in the middle part of the year, scoring a South Iowa Cedar League win Thursday at home in four sets over visiting English Valleys. The match belonged to the Eagles 23-25, 25-10, 25-22 and 25-14. Eagle leaders included Jaylah Redlinger with 18 assists, Addison Purkeypile with 13 digs, Elyse Lyle with 12 kills, Cameron Haifley with 10 assists and two blocks, Kennedy Jackson with 10 kills and four blocks, Emily Conger with 11 digs and three aces, and Kaylee Kindred added three aces. The Eagles are back to .500 on the year at 8-8 and 2-5 in the SICL as EV drops to 9-13.
