The red-hot Washington Demon volleyball team looks to keep their conference record perfect and the momentum building tonight when they host the Fort Madison Bloodhounds in a Homecoming week match at the Demon Den. Washington is 14-8 on the year, 4-0 in the Southeast Conference and winners of five straight, including the West Liberty Tournament Championship September 20th. This year the Demons have 831 digs, 617 kills, 10th most in Class 3A, 574 assists, eighth in 3A, 115 blocks, 111 aces and a .178 swing efficiency. Individually, they are led by Reagan Miller’s 328 assists and 35 aces, eighth in 3A, Ellie Farmer’s 207 digs, Leighton Messinger’s 193 kills, sixth in 3A, and Layla Green’s 40 blocks, ninth in 3A, and .312 swing efficiency.

Fort Madison is 10-10 on the year, 1-3 in conference, coming off of a 2-1 night at the Holy Trinity Classic last week where they got wins over Danville and Keokuk but fell to the Wapello Arrows. On the season, the Bloodhounds have 861 digs, 411 kills, 361 assists, 146 aces, 81 blocks and a .066 swing efficiency. Individually, Jordyn Grisham leads with 257 assists, Kylie Lumino with 201 digs, Dayonna Davis with 131 kills, 37 aces and a .159 swing efficiency, and Sydney McEntee with 29 blocks.

Washington has won seven straight in the series with Fort Madison, including the last six by sweep. Action starts tonight at 7:15p.m. At the Demon Den in Washington.
