A funeral service for 96-year-old Dorothy Bender of Kalona will be Monday, September 29th at 10:30a.m. at Lower Deer Creek Church in rural Kalona. The service will be available via livestream at the Beatty Peterseim Facebook and YouTube pages. Burial will follow at Lower Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, September 28th from 3-6p.m. at Lower Deer Creek Church. Memorial donations may be given to Iowa City Hospice of Pleasantview Home. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.
