A popular class is returning for those interested in learning more about being a responsible and knowledgeable babysitter. The Kirkwood Washington Regional Center’s babysitting boot camp is designed especially for kids aged 10 and up who are ready to start their babysitting journey. 

This class will teach students essential skills, making them a confident babysitter. Participants will learn fundamental first aid techniques, including CPR, choking response, and how to handle common childhood injuries and illnesses. They will learn diaper changing techniques, as well as how to organize age-appropriate activities, and meal and snack prep. Students must be 10 years or older to register.

A babysitting bootcamp certificate will be given upon completion. Tuition is $39. The class will be held on Saturday, September 27th, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center.
