Four local schools traveled to Fort Madison Thursday for the Timm Lamb Invitational and returned with hardware.

The Columbus Wildcat boys won the team title in the B division with 67 points. Mediapolis was second with 87. Ryan Villa led the way for the Wildcats in 10th at 17:35. Mason McDonald of Clark County was the winner in 16:05. Other Columbus runners included Drake Marin 12th, Victor Tovar 13th, Kevin Villa 15th, Elias Gonzalez-Bravo 17th, Cade Storm 21st, Elias Duran 31st, Alan Miranda 43rd, Tyson Corneille 57th, Juan Alcala 63rd, Silas Falk 72nd, Noah Razo 86th, Christopher Neri 91st, Jeremy Hurlbut 95th, David Garcia 99th, Donovan Garcia 104th and Mwenebato Tcheo 105th.

It was all runners-up for the Washington Demons in the A division. The Washington boys were second with 62 points. Fort Madison was the winner with 38 points. Andrew Rees sprinted to second for Washington in 16:42. Riley Tripp from Fort Madison was the winner in 16:38. Other Demons included Ethan Hotchkiss 11th, Jack Shepherd 13th, Teag Miller 16th, Parker Tschantz 20th, Xavi Recendez 26th, Fletcher Bower 35th, Logan Hoback 57th, Quintyn Garibay 59th, and Sawyer Van Der Molen 80th. It was second also for the Demon girls with 55 points, behind the home course champion Bloodhounds 27. Iris Dahl was the Washington leader in second in 19:28. Avery Rump for Fort Madison won with 18:55. Other Demons included Emma Horak 10th, Kora Miller 12th, Angeline Anderson 13th, Ellie Van Der Molen 22nd, Zully Aranda Terrones 42nd, Isobel Murphy 44th, Kenzie Thomas 50th and Denisse Gonzalez 54th.

The WACO boys were fourth in the B division with 87 points. Jude Dykstra was best in third at 16:22. Other Warriors included Garrett Landau ninth, Gavin Slagel 18th, Tristan Luitjens 26th, Hunter Wilson 41st, Locken Henderson 48th, Wyatt Wilson 79th, and Kaden Donaldson 102nd. The WACO girls did not post a team score and were led individually by the KCII Area Athlete of the Week Josie Dykstra with her third place time of 20:25. Warrior teammate Macie Carter was right behind her in fourth.

The Columbus girls were third with 110 points, paced by Iris Garza 12th in 22:37. Other Wildcats were Isabel Rendon 18th, Gabi Duran 22nd, Naveiah Garza 38th, Ellie Valencia 46th, Rozlynn Garza 48th, Naomi Allchin 50th, and Jenelis Panchillo 55th.

The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves had Bowen Thomson 42nd for the boys in 19:46 with Brayden Cline 55th, Parker Wilson 65th and Adlin Wilkerson 103rd.
