Four local schools are represented in the latest cross country rankings from the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

This week the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls remain on top of the Class 2A rankings as they have been all season. The Hawks have four ranked runners in their lineup with Kendal Landstrum No. 3, Brooklyn Stutzman No. 7, Rachel Hostetler No. 8 and Tessa Brokaw No. 11. Individually for the Golden hawk boys, Max Swartzentruber is No. 22 in 2A.

In Class 1A, the Columbus Wildcat boys have climbed to the No. 5 spot in the team poll. The WACO Warriors are No. 14 as a team with Jude Dykstra No. 14 individually. For the 1A girls, Hillcrest Academy’s Marie Yoder is No. 15 individually, with WACO’s Josie Dykstra No. 22.
