There are only four more Washington farmers markets left of the season. Visit downtown central park this Thursday for some home grown vegetables, handmade items, and fresh baked goods. 

This week at the Washington farmers market the food trucks in attendance include Stone Wall Brick Oven Pizza, Revels Meatery and Malt Shop, and Cheryl’s Ice Cream Shack. 

The Thursday Night Live performance will be by Marc Janssen and Nate Basinger. Janssen and Basinger are part of the Iowa City area music scene, where they are members of some eastern Iowa bands, including Diplomats of Solid Sound, Burlington Street Bluegrass Band, Swampland Jewels, and Dandelion Stompers. Together, Janssen and Basinger play traditional American folk music, with antique melodies on fiddle and accordion, regional folk songs, and some original music. They will take the stage in central park at 5:30 p.m.
