One person is dead following a side-by-side rollover crash in Jefferson County Monday afternoon.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office, at approximately 1:56 p.m., the department received a report of a side-by-side wreck in the 1100 block of 262nd Street, in rural Libertyville.

The driver of the side-by-side died as a result of the crash. Their name has not been released.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Libertyville Fire and Rescue, Batavia Fire Department, and Jefferson County Ambulance responded to the scene.
