The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team scored a road Southeast Iowa Superconference rivalry win over WACO Thursday on Bob Hilmer court. The match belonged to the Lady Wolves 25-19, 25-17 and 25-15. WMU was led on the night by Madisen Kellogg’s 20 assists seven digs, and three aces, six kills, six aces and three blocks for Quin Smith and five kills for Kate Miller to go with 14 digs, and three blocks for Kaelyn Townsley. For WACO, Ava Wagler led with 11 assists, Courtney Waterhouse had six kills, Carlee Lunsford four kills with two aces, 12 digs for Brenna Graber, seven for Morgan Meyer, and three blocks for Madelyn Farmer. The Lady Wolves moved to 6-1 with the win while WACO drops to 3-11.
