The Columbus Wildcat volleyball team brought their brooms to Packwood Thursday night for a three game Southeast Iowa Superconference sweep of the home Panthers. Columbus was a winner 25-17, 25-19 and 25-18. Wildcat leaders on the night included Daniela Diaz with 16 assists, seven kills for Hailey Wellington, four for Kennedy Woepking, who added six digs, to go with five each from Diaz and Jocelyn Hernandez. Jessica Del Rio, Maeleigh Grimm and Wellington each had one block and Hernandez piled up five aces while Del Rio added three. Columbus is now 3-6 on the year as Pekin drops to 2-7.
