It was one up and one down Monday at HLV for the Hillcrest Academy Raven volleyball team. The Hillcrest win came over Meskwaki Settlement by matching 21-16 scores, but the Ravens were beaten by the home Warriorettes, 21-15 and 21-17. Leaders on the night for Hillcrest included Claire Withrow with 18 assists, Niva Helmuth with 11 kills, seven kills for Ruth Witthoft. Defensively, Brynna Boshart had 13 digs and Claire Miller nine. Amelia Vigneron finished with four aces, Maryn Boshart three. The split moves the Ravens record to 8-3 this year, they travel to Lone Tree Thursday.
