Jordan Proctor

A Cedar Rapids man who was arrested for impersonating a federal agent in Washington County, after doing the same in Linn County multiple times, including at an airport, has pleaded not guilty. 

According to court records, 34-year-old Jordan Proctor, filed a written plea of not guilty in Washington with the court on September 9th for the charge of impersonating a public official, all aggravated misdemeanors. His arraignment hearing was set for September 10th. 

Proctor was arrested on August 7th. According to court documents, on June 21st, Proctor told multiple Riverside Casino and Golf Resort staff that he was a State Fire Marshall Agent, a federal investigator, and a Secret Service Agent. He then left the premises. 

On June 23rd, Proctor told an employee with Continental Fire Sprinkler Company that was at the Riverside Casino that he was with the State Fire Marshal’s office, a branch of the Secret Service. The employee contacted the Chicago, Illinois, field office of the U.S. Secret Service and a special agent confirmed that Proctor did not work for their agency. 

A trial date has been set for October 28th.
