Beginning on Monday, September 8th, the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Southern Railway (CPKC) will begin working on replacing various timber crossings on Washington County roadways.

These repairs will result in the closure of various road crossings, subject to weather conditions. CPKC personnel will be working on the Cedar Avenue, Ivy Avenue, 260th Street, and Kiwi Avenue railroad crossings. The exact schedule and order of work will be determined by CPKC Railway and is dependent on weather and other railroad work. The work is expected to take one to two weeks to complete. It is anticipated each closure and crossing repair will take approximately 10 to 12 hours, depending on train traffic.

During these closures, the public is urged to use alternate routes and to exercise caution if traveling in the work zones.
