The Sigourney Savage volleyball team traveled to a tournament at Montezuma Tuesday. The Savages had a 1-2 night with a win over HLV in three 8-21, 21-17 and 15-12, and losses to Williamsburg 21-6 and 21-6 and the home Bravettes 21-16 and 21-13. Savage stat-leaders on the night included Bailey Gretter with 25 digs, 14 assists and 10 kills, Carmalita Cave with 16 digs, Kayla Renner with nine assists, Addy Finneran with six kills and four blocks, Clara Hanselman with a pair of blocks, and two aces each for Renner, Cave and Ella Bruns. Sigourney is now 4-3 on the season and travels to the English Valleys Tournament Saturday.
