The Sigourney and Keota Cross Country teams traveled to Ottumwa for the Wildwood Park meet Thursday. The Savages finished fifth of 10 schools in the boys team race with 130 points, Louisa-Muscatine won the title with 46. Sigourney was paced by Troy Klett in fourth at 16:38. L-M’s Hayden Riggan was the champ in 16:33. Other Sigourney finishers included Levi Meyers 23rd, Cole Klett 27th, Jordan Anderson 31st, and Isaac Jones 55th.
Keota did not post a team score, but were led individually by Chase Haifley 40th in 20:29, followed by Hunter Grandstaff 45th and Luke Moeller 69th.
The Sigourney girls sent three with Addison Yates taking the top spot in fourth at 21:15. Chloe Glosser of Pekin won the title in 18:10. Also running for Sigourney were Brynn Clarahan eighth and Cloee Wilson 29th.
