It’s a 2-0 start to the season and a win to begin the conference campaign for the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves volleyball team. WMU took care of Louisa-Muscatine in Letts Tuesday in four sets, by scores of 25-20, 16-25, 25-19 and 25-16. Lady Wolves stat-leaders included Madisen Kellogg with 23 assists, Kynlee Buffington with a dozen kills, eight for Kellee Milks. Katie Miller led the defense with 26 digs, Milks and Buffington each had 12. Quin Smith and Buffington each had a pair of blocks. Kaelyn Townsley had six aces, Kellogg five, Milks four and Smith three. The Wolves remain unbeaten on the year and stand at 1-0 in conference with a trip to the English Valleys Tournament Saturday.
