The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a scope change for the County Engineer’s office building project at their meeting Tuesday.
The change includes eliminating the sanitary sewer line and sump pump, as well as relocating the water line to reduce pipe footage, and relocating the gas line to the exterior of the building. The change in price for this work is estimated to be a cost savings of just over $7,000.
The new office building will be located at 821 East 7th Street in Washington, and is estimated to be completed by the end of fall.
