Washington County Public Health held a well-attended ribbon cutting and open house on August 22nd. 

Public Health Director Jen Roberts shared with the Board of Health the success of the event, “Our open house on Friday was fantastic. We had about 100 people show up and it was a lot of fun. We had a lot of goodies, visited with a lot of people. We had seven people from the state come down. It was amazing, the community really came forward and supported us and it was nice to see.”   

Guests enjoyed conversation, company, and a spread of snacks while exploring the new space and learning more about the services that they provide. The new location for Washington Public Health is 2175 Lexington Boulevard Building 2. Public Health provides immunizations, maternal health, and other health resources.
