The PAWS and More Animal Shelter is preparing for its annual garage sale fundraiser, and is looking for items. 

PAWS board member Elaine Moore gives more information on the sale,  “The garage sale is done completely with donated items. So if you are, no, not if, you should be in the fall cleaning out your closets, your garages, your attics. Instead of donating to another great organization, please consider PAWS and More Animal Shelter. Every penny that we make at this garage sale goes back to the love and care of our animals.”  

The sale will take place from September 4th through 13th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 620 East Polk street in Washington. Donated items can be dropped off anytime. New items will be added daily to the sale. Funds raised from this sale will go towards shelter operations.

 The last garage sale fundraiser brought in a total of $11,000 for the animal shelter.
