There is a change to the garbage pick-up schedule for Washington with the Labor Day holiday on Monday. Residents will see their trash and recycling collected one day later in the week.

Those who usually have a Monday pickup will be on Tuesday, September 2. Tuesday’s pickup will be Wednesday, September 3. Wednesday’s pickup will be on Thursday, September 4. Thursday’s pickup will be Friday, September 5. 

Garbage and recycling totes should be placed at curbside by 5 a.m.  on your scheduled pickup day. If the tote is not out prior to 5 a.m. and it was missed, put it out with the next scheduled pickup.
