
The Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP) Mobile Food Pantry has released its September schedule.The resource for area residents is free and will be making multiple stops in the KCII-listening area.
The pantry’s Marengo Family Dollar stop was pushed up to August 28 from noon to 1 p.m. due to Labor Day.
September stops in the KCII listening area are as follows:
- September 2 in Riverside at Hall Park from 11 a.m. to noon
- September 4 in Brighton at the corner of Main and Mechanic Streets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- September 9 in North English at the community center from 4 to 5 p.m.
The pantry will make nine other stops across Cedar, Jones, Linn, and Benton Counties during the month.
The HACAP mobile food pantry provides canned goods, frozen meat, bread and baked goods to families as part of the organization’s health and nutrition program.
