There have been some changes in the codes enforcement position for the City of Washington. 

Code enforcement operations duties have been moved to the Washington Police Department and are being fulfilled by Police Officer Devin Fraise who is assigned to the role of Community Services Officer. Formerly these issues were handled by the city’s Development Services department. From June 1 through August 12th, Officer Fraise has initiated 78 reports of various nuisance violations throughout the city.

Officer Fraise focuses his time on code enforcement duties as well as other law enforcement tasks. In assigning a full-time employee to this position, the City anticipates seeing tangible results in coming months.
