With the first day of school for Kindergarten through 12th grade at area schools less than a week away, local preschools are also gearing up for the new year.

Sigourney Preschool, Winfield-Mt. Union Preschool and WACO Pre-K will begin on August 25 along with the return of K-12 students. Mid-Prairie, Keota and Highland Preschool will begin on Wednesday, August 27. Washington and Columbus preschool will start on Tuesday, September 2.

Supply lists can be found on each district’s website. Vaccine schedules for public school preschool students are consistent with K-12 requirements.
