Washington County Public Health is inviting the public to an open house and ribbon cutting celebration at their new facility.

The offices moved in July to Orchard Hill. Washington County Public Health Executive Director Jen Roberts gives more insight on the new building and what it means to the organization, “So, we are all on one floor now, which is fantastic, instead of three. When you walk into our main entrance you have Susie (Beatty) who is our receptionist, and then you have our waiting room to the left, and then we have our whole clinic wing to the right. Which is new to us, we only had one exam room in Federation Bank, we have two. And they both have running water in them, so it’s the little things that matter. We have a lab area in between them to get vaccines ready, and a little door to pass through. We also have two consult rooms and we are pretty lucky with this new clinic wing, it’s going to work out really well. Then we have our administration wing which is locked to everybody, but we will give the tours. We have our nurses station, and a small conference room, and a break room. We are, like I said, so excited about this new facility. It really does accommodate us very well.”

The open house will be held this Friday, August 22nd from 2-4 p.m. at 2175 Lexington Boulevard Building two. During the open house guests can tour the new space, meet the Public Health team, and learn more about the services that they offer.
