The 26th Annual PAWS & More Car Show will be held on Sunday, August 17th, around Central Park in Washington. 

Downtown will come alive with classic cars of all types to compete for awards for the 26th year. They will be serving pork burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and much more to raise money to care for the animals. 

PAWS and More board member Cara Sorrells talks about the other events and activities that will be happening that day, “Other things that we will have going on there is we will also have JT’s Sips and Mama Llamas for some yummy drinks. Mama Llamas is also bringing a bounce house for the kids. So it could be a great family day, you can check out the cars, you can do the bounce house. Face art by Brandi is going to be there which is a favorite, as well as Balloon Man Lucas. Lots of things for the kids to do. We’ll have live animals, not only adoptable PAWS dogs walking around throughout the day, but we will have some kittens and bunnies and some other animals to take a look at. So, lots of fun stuff.”   

This is the shelter’s largest fundraiser of the year, and all money raised goes towards shelter operations.
