The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team took home postseason awards from the River Valley Conference recently, with four players earning All-league status.

Junior Sophie Miller was a first-team All-RVC selection in the outfield. She led the Hawks with a .442 average, 38 total hits,22 RBI, seven walks, and six stolen bases. Miller finished with a .534OBP, .651 slug and 1.185OPS, all top five in the RVC.

Junior Kadence Grout was a second-team selection at Utility. She hit .326 with a .379OBP, 400 slug and .938OPS. Grout had 30 hits, drove in 21 and scored 11 runs with eight walks. In the circle, she led the Hawks with 79 innings of work. Grout had a .338 opponent average, 132 hits, 83 earned runs, 22 walks and 30 strikeouts with a team best 7.32ERA and 1.94WHIP to go with a 3-10 record.

Sophomore Sophia Puttmann was a second-team selection at catcher. She hit .293 for the year with a .370OBP, .305 slug and .674OPS. Puttmann finished with 24 hits, 15 runs scored, 10 driven in and five walks. Behind the plate, she threw out a team best five runners.

Freshman Alena Snider was an honorable mention RVC pick in the circle. She led the Hawks with four wins, amassing 75 innings with a .349 opponent average on 132 hits, 114 earned runs, 61 walks and a team best 37 strikeouts to go with a 10.55ERA and 2.55WHIP.

The Golden Hawks ended the year with a 7-22 overall record.
