Halcyon House will be hosting an Alive After 5 Tuesday through the Washington Chamber of Commerce. 

This third annual event is slightly different this year, as it is typically held in September. KCII spoke with Alisha Davis, Director of Sales and Marketing for Halcyon House, to learn more about the event, “We’ll have food, really delicious food. They are doing club sandwiches, a summer berry salad, and strawberry shortcake, and then we will have plenty of different beverages. Live music from Justin Horesowsky, whose wife’s grandma lives at Halcyon. So that’s kind of a cool little blurb for him. We like to keep it in the family , and he is a great musician, too. We’ll also have some crafts, so we are going to be doing terra cotta pots with some little succulents. So that will be a fun project for young and old.”  

The Alive After 5 will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., located at 1015 South Iowa Avenue in the Applewood Lounge area.
