Washington County 4-H’ers earned several honors at the annual Southeast Iowa Showdown in Iowa City and Final Drive Livestock Show. The event was held in Burlington on Saturday, July 26.

The SE Iowa Showdown and Final Drive are prestigious livestock shows that invite  county fair Grand Champions and Reserve Grand Champions from the surrounding area for a regional competition. This show is by invitation only for the best of each county to compete against their neighboring counties.     

Several honors were given to Washington County 4-H exhibitors at the Southeast Iowa Showdown in Iowa City and the Final Drive held in Burlington on July 26th. Champions included Peighton Ford in Showman Market Swine, Parker Shalla in Market Goats, Jack Greiner in Swine Showman, and Ella Greiner in Breeding Ewe.
