
A Washington man charged with attempted murder has an arraignment scheduled for this Friday. Authorities arrested 29-year old Maicol Godoy in June and charged him with attempted murder, a class B felony; willful injury – causing serious injury, a class C felony; going armed with intent, a class D felony; and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Court documents outline that authorities responded to a report of a stabbing in Washington on the morning of June 5th. Allegedly the victim was stabbed twice in the back with a kitchen knife.
A victim damages statement has been filed at nearly $13,000. A preliminary hearing was waived. KCII will bring more information as it becomes official. He’s being held at the Washington County Jail.
