The Washington County Supervisors approved the voting representatives for the County for the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) Tuesday.
Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. explained why the item was on the agenda, “Well, it was sent to the county, and the county auditors and everybody throughout the state, because of the requirements to keep the 501c3 designation for ISAC. And it has to do with identifying who is doing what within the (County) organization.”
The representatives for Washington County include Sheriff Jared Schneider, Nathan Repp, Tamera Stewart, Jeff Garrett, Teresa Mangold, Jacob Thorius, Christy Tinnes, Carrie Rich, Zach Rozmus, Jason Taylor, Jenifer Roberts, and Cyndie Sinn.
The Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) is a private, nonprofit corporation. ISAC members are elected and appointed county officials from all 99 counties. ISAC’s mission is to promote effective and responsible county government for the people of Iowa.
