
Washington received more than twice the normal amount of rain for the month of July. According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, Washington received 10.5 inches of precipitation last month. The normal amount for the month of July is 4.13 inches. The record rainfall for the seventh month of the year in Washington was set in 1993 at 12.67 inches.
So far this year, Washington has had 25.2 inches of precipitation, ahead of the normal 23.2 inches.
