KCII’s Big Red Radio went to Winfield on Saturday for Crooked Creek Days as a part of the KCII Summer Town Tour.

KCII broadcast the festivities live from Winfield from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday morning, including the fun run and the parade.

Other events on Saturday included a pancake breakfast, a sand volleyball tournament, kids’ games, a horseshoe tournament, a frog jump, 3-on-3 basketball, a wrecking ball tournament, pony rides, a talent show, a bags tournament, and a street dance.

The festival began on Friday with an escape room, a kids’ pedal pull, a chicken scramble, greased pig contests, and a family friendly dance. It ended on Sunday with a Historical Society breakfast, a car show, a community church service, and a kickball tournament.

The nex t stop on the KCII Summer Town Tour will be on August 23 at the Lone Tree Fall Festival. The one to count on is AM and FM KCII.
