The Washington Farmers Market will be in full swing on Thursday, beginning at 5 p.m. 

The food truck line-up includes Sweet ‘n Saucy BBQ, Cheryl’s Ice Cream Shack, and JT’s Sips. They are joining multiple other food vendors on the square in Washington for the market. There will be a variety of produce and handmade goods available for purchase. 

The Farm Fables book giveaway for this week is sponsored by DeLong Construction, and a free book will be available for the first 200 kids to the table. 

The Thursday Night Live performance will be by Justin Horesowsky, a local singer and musician with a musical journey spanning venues since 2006. Originally from Kalona, he now resides in Washington with his wife and children. His performance will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Washington Municipal Band will finish off the evening from the band shell beginning at 7:45 p.m.
