The Lone Tree Lions rallied late in the season to put together some of their best baseball, and five of their top players come away with all-conference accolades in the North division of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.

That includes Jack Patterson, who is a first-team choice at infielder after collecting a .241 batting average, 20 runs scored and 19 stolen bases at the plate. But the senior was also Lone Tree’s ace pitcher, posting a 2.14 earned-run average and 52 strikeouts in just over 39 innings on the mound.

Sophomore Brock Nebergall also makes the first team at catcher after leading the team with a .369 average and 22 runs scored and also picking up 12 runs batted in on a team-high 25 hits.

Senior Maddox Jondle gets a second-team nod after the outfielder scored 13 runs and hit .276 with one double, two triples and 11 RBI. Honorable mentions go to senior Brody Magruder and junior Emmett Burke, who aided the Lions in a 9-14 campaign.
