The Highland Huskies had their most successful soccer season in a decade this past spring, and four players who helped them achieve that success earned All-Southeast Iowa Super Conference honors for their efforts.
That includes Jared Diaz, who is a first-team selection after leading Highland with both 16 goals scored and six assists. Fellow senior Ayden Havel gets a second-team nod after making over 150 saves at goalkeeper and stopping over 85 percent of the total shots he faced.
Honorable mentions go to seniors Jaydee Macareno and Sage Hartely-Norman, who were key pieces for a Husky team that won seven matches this season, matching their total number of victories over the previous three seasons combined.
