Companies in Washington, Iowa, Johnson, Cedar, Benton, Jones, and Linn counties are asked to share information about the regional workforce needs regarding skills across industries. Kirkwood Community College has launched the Skills Survey 2027.

The online survey is asking businesses within the college’s seven-county service area to learn about future needs of the workforce. The Skills Report is used to understand education and credential requirements for the workforce now through 2027, as well as talent needs across industries and development issues. In addition, the report guides career pathway development and workforce attraction strategies in the region.

Kirkwood Continuing Education states there are nearly 30,000 annual enrollments in courses that include industry certification, career development, and personal enrichment.

Employers can complete the survey now through August 29th. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. The survey can be found here.
