Average gas prices rose this week in Iowa according to the latest fuel report from AAA and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.

Regular unleaded gas is up two cents on average to $2.95 in the Hawkeye State, while the national average held steady at $3.16.

Retail diesel costs also rose in Iowa, increasing by five cents to an average of $3.58 per gallon. Nationally, diesel prices rose by a penny on average to $3.74.

Crude oil prices fell this week, with West Texas Intermediate crude falling $1.48 per barrel to $65.07 and Brent crude falling 34 cents to $68.33 per barrel.
