This past spring, Kaden Read rewrote the record books for Washington Demon boys’ soccer. In his first season as the starting goalkeeper, Read set a new single-season program record for saves.

Read stopped a total of 200 shots this season for Washington, breaking the previous single-season record of 176 saves set by Benjamin Baughman in 2019. Read had a save percentage of .791 to help the Demons win a pair of matches this spring.
