Sixty-four non-livestock exhibits will represent Washington County at the Iowa State Fair.

There were more than 50 youth and a standing room only audience gathered Thursday, July 17th at the Lions Club Stage at the Washington County Fair to receive their State Fair plaques and public recognition for being selected as a State Fair project award winner.

These projects will be on display representing Washington County 4-H and FFA at the Iowa State Fair from August 7-17 in Des Moines. A total of 734 non-livestock exhibits were entered at the Washington County Fair in the 4-H/FFA static contest, but only 64 can go on to the State Fair.

The complete list of State Fair winners can be found with this news story at KCIIRadio.com
