Pleasantview Home will host a grand opening for its newly-renovated facility on Sunday, July 27, in the Pleasantview Friendship Center.

The event, which will last from 2 to 5 p.m., will feature several speakers, a ribbon cutting, facility tours, and refreshments.

Pleasantview Marketing Director Jessica Janecek described the areas attendees will be able to see, “The Friendship Center as well as our main lobby got a facelift. We have a new cafe in the main lobby called the ‘Cozy Corner Cafe’ and we are going to have tours of our assisted living facility that got a major renovation the past couple of years.”

Those attending the event will also be able to view the dining room and outdoor space and see pictures of Pleasantview’s new memory care unit.Pleasantview is a retirement community, assisted living home and care center in Kalona. It was opened in 1958.
