The Washington County Riverboat Foundation has announced its municipal grants for the second quarter of 2025.

The total award amounts are as follows: Washington received $170,308.01, Kalona received $59,409.77, Wellman received $34,583.73, Riverside received $23,130.20, Brighton received $10,456.11, Ainsworth received $9,505.56, Crawfordsville received $6,337.05, and West Chester received $2,851.66.

In total, WCRF awarded $316,852.09 in this round of municipal grants. The fund amounts are allocated based on population.

The municipal grant program distributes 25% of the WCRF’s revenue each quarter to each city in Washington County. The cities then designate its use on a case-by-case basis.
