Hillcrest Academy will host its annual golf benefit at the Kalona Golf Club on Saturday, with proceeds going to the academy’s Alumni Association.

Registration will open at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday and the golf will begin at 8 with a shotgun start, when golfers will begin on every hole across the course. The event will conclude with a catered lunch and winners’ presentation at noon.

Hillcrest Academy Director of Advancement Jeremy Ours describes the impact the benefit has on the school, “It helps provide scholarships and above budget items for different things, it supports academic programs, athletic programs, you name it.”

Players can register online at a cost of $100 per person prior to the event or $125 day-of.
