Washington County Outreach increased the total fees collected in the last quarter. The total amount is $7,050, with over $2,000 in the month of April alone. These fees include court fines paid by offenders.

Outreach Director Joseph Williams, shared with the Washington County Board of Supervisors the quarterly report at their meeting on Tuesday, “First there is going to be some data about what has been going on with Outreach and what it looks like. So, currently there are 126 people, 23 warrants and 3 of those are pre-trial release. And then monthly case load, so I’ve been here since March, I think March was around that 120 range, then it kind of went down and we are back up to that 126 now total. So, including the warrants, around 40% of individuals on probation are complete. That is roughly 50 people. I’m looking at about 80% of them are near completion or on track to successfully complete probation.”

Williams was hired as the new Washington County Outreach Director in February of this year.
