
The Keokuk County Expo in Sigourney will take place next week, and KCII will be there on Wednesday and Thursday to bring you all of the action.
The flag-raising ceremony will kick off the expo at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Monday’s events will include the 4-H communications competition, the Kids’ Farm Strong competition, and a rodeo.
On Tuesday, the horse and pony show, baby contest and Little Mr./Little Ms. competition will be among the activities.
The dog show, 4H/FFA meal and ice cream social, rabbit show, poultry show and bags tournaments will be held on Wednesday.
Thursday’s festivities will include the sheep show, goat show, talent show and queen contest.
The swine show, bottle bucket show, and a concert with Eli Alger and the Faster Horses alongside Neva Alden will take place on Friday.
The expo will conclude on Saturday with the cattle show, bingo and figure 8 races.
The KCII Big Red Radio will be at the expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday as a part of the KCII Summer Town Tour. The one to count on to bring you where the action is, AM and FM KCII.
