Washington Demon baseball suffered a 13-2 loss to Clear Creek Amana in their regular-season finale Tuesday night. Washington scored a run in each of the first two innings and only trailed by a run, but allowing five runs in each of the next two frames proved to be too much for the Demons to overcome.
A five-inning loss drops Washington’s record to 4-22. The Demons now prepare to start the postseason by facing Davenport Assumption tomorrow evening in the Class 3A Substate 5 quarterfinals.
