
The Keokuk County Fair is set for this week in What Cheer and will run from Thursday through Sunday.
On Thursday, the Keokuk County Fair Queen will be crowned at 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Hall.
Exhibit judging, carnival rides, a scavenger hunt, a checkers tournament, a cookie stack, a puzzle contest, a foam party, a baby pageant, a cornhole tournament and live entertainment will be held on Friday.
Saturday’s events will include a cake eating contest, carnival rides, bingo, and the conclusion of the scavenger hunt.
The fair will end on Sunday with community-wide church services and carnival rides.
The Keokuk County Expo will begin on Sunday as the fair concludes.
